Viagra buy now canadian - Canadian Pharmacy

Help needed! (G-Mail account)?

Hi,

Recently I've been getting a lot of spammy and junk e-mails on my G-Mail account which also happens to be my default e-mail provider, I have tried creating several filters & marking them as spam. Nothing works.

Now the details:
The messages are totally pointless for a student like me..

"Buy Viagra online to boost your sexual life"
"Low Cost Canadian Pharmacy"
"Soft-Cialis to boost your sex life"
and so on..

The e-mail sender differs in every e-mail.

fpsapkdfd[fa@hotmail.com
dhfpspdggs@yahoo.com
egpsgp[gg@gmail.com

from

xepjdmeffmefjffmfpejf.blogspot.com
w[pjpvsnsfjanfaffoda.blogspot.com

I am really getting SICK of these messages and they can deal a blow to the "trust" I have in my relationships (if they read it >.>)

So any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Thanks for the fast replies.

First off, I have this e-mail given out at too many places and I probably think someone has leaked it. So yea..my fault..

Second, I don't think I can switch again for the same reason mentioned above.

Third, yes, I do understand marking them as spam is the only way but I tried filtering them, like Google gives me an option to block e-mails with the word 'Viagra' in it and it still finds it way through..

There's really nothing much you can do about these spam emails.

If you open these emails up, you may notice a "unsubscribe" button. Sometimes these work, but most of the times replying to unsubscribe will just let those spammers know that there is someone on the receiving end! Most often than not, the spam emails you increase.

Since the email sender differs everytime, there is no way you can block them too.

Simply mark them as spam everytime for a few weeks at least, this will train Google's spam recognition.

I suggest you stop posting your email address on the internet publicly if you are, because spam bots are everywhere to harbest them. Also, you may wish to set up different accounts for different purposes.

I don't think anyone will misunderstand, as EVERYONE get these spam mails at one point or another.

tell google

just keep selecting them as spam, over time (maybe 2 weeks +) they will be marked as spam. i get alot of spam, but mostly of credit cards. i gotta say though, gmail does have powerful spam protection, just have to "train" it to get rid of new ones.

I had the same problem too. My whole family has gmail and were saying how great it is and bla bla bla. So I got an account only to have excess spam like you did. I also tried making all those filters which also did nothing. Finally, I just got sick of it and switched back over to yahoo. But if you want a really good email client...use msn. I have the problem of not getting or receiving mail on yahoo sometimes and on msn I have never had any problems whatsoever.

And everyone can tell you to unsubscribe to them or don't give out your email...but I never gave out my email and yet got several spam. And you can't unsubscribe because there' just too many of them, it would take days. I would just switch accounts if I were you. Transfer your addresses and info.

I have a question about computer hacking....?

Yesterday I got an e-mail from my best friend that she didn't send. It was for a Canadian prescription drug service where you could buy women's and men's viagra for real cheap. A few hours later, my best friend sends out an apology to everyone regarding the prior e-mail and said that she didn't send it and that she had Yahoo checking into it. I talked to her today, and she says that Yahoo can't do anything since there's no way to see who sent it or how they got her info. As we're talking, I remember back to a few nights ago when I was reading something online and the article vanished, the screen went blank, and then the article popped back up as if nothing ever happened. Now my friend doesn't have her own internet service, she goes to places that offer wi-fi where she can just borrow a signal.. and those are known to be dangerous since they're not secure and hackers can just jump on in. But... is it possible that my computer was hacked into, and now someone is seeing who my contacts are, and sending out e-mails under my friend's address? I checked my email and nothing out of the ordinary has been sent. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with my computer. Or is it more likely that her computer was the one that was hacked into? Is there a way to tell this? I know we have all sorts of stuff on ours... antiviral program, firewall... but either way all this makes me so paranoid....

Thanks

It was most likely her email that was hacked. The hacker then used her address book and email client to send out the spam to her contacts. She should scan her computer with her AV and a spyware scanner. Malwarebytes is the best one.
Being online at a public wifi spot is risky, as you said. Your friend should never access credit card or bank accounts while on a public spot. She can use PeerBlock to help with blocking unwanted connections. But sometimes the access point is hacked and she might log on to the hacker's wifi instead of the free one.
If she sees there are several access points with similar names, that's a sign that a hacker has set up a bogus access point to try to steal data from unsuspecting people logging on. She should always manually search for access points and then choose to connect, rather than have her computer automatically log on.
